new tab page third party?

I have a student that whenever she opens a new tab on her chromebook it goes to a link of:

chrome://new-tab-page-third-party

With a single icon on the page called "Extensions"

Cannot figure out what she did..............

What does it show in her settings for new tab default option? Does it say this (on her own account settings)

And where is that found? 

In settings, the "On startup" option is set to "open the new tab page".

I d not see a new tab default option/setting

Mine is locked like yours, home button forced to our school website.

I wound up clearing all sign-in cookies for this user in the admin console, as well as clearing all browsing data and removing/deleting profile from the chromebook.

Signed in again and things look back to normal...................for now.
