Most things support OAuth2 and where they do not you can normally use the relay service.

Or you can use App Passwords.

We disabled LSAs over a year ago here at UC Berkeley. It was a little bit of a project, but with encouraging people to use OAuth2 and App Passwords, it was really not that big a deal.
