Gemini Delete Chat should be available for Gemini Education AI Pro Premium Plans

Gemini Delete Chat should be available for Gemini Education Premium plans because there are people like me with sense of 'making things tidy' who prefers to set up the chats and the information on the screen is really important. And for a purchased plan, at least the Super Admins should have the option to control it turning on and turning off this option. So, I had to cancel my Gemini Education Premium plan because I use Gemini every day, many times, and I have a lot of chat so that get lost myself inside the chats and makes my study and workflow impossible to go on. So I'd like to suggest the Google Workspace team to think about it and help us to make our Google life easier.

I believe being able to delete chats is on the roll out for Workspace (and thus education). It wasn't possible due to there being nog compliance availability, now they have integrated it with Vault so for compliance sake the chats get saved but the user can't see them anymore and get a clean view.

I don't see where Gemini is covered under Vault settings or retention?

I see that Fundamentals is not covered by the Vault retention https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2025/02/google-vault-now-supports-gemini.html that is rather disappointing.

If we could just organize them with folders or labels, that might be a solution :).

Checkout the chrome extension Fast Folders.  it allows you to create and manage Gemini gems.
