Chromebook Recovery issues

Anyone having issues recovering Chromebooks? I have an Asus CR1100 which a powerwash was not able to fix and also now the USB recovery also won't work. We just keep getting a "Error recovering device" or "Something went wrong" error.

Still? Tested with other USB or same USB on other device?

Usually if you can't recover with USB key, then storage is bad.  Since it is usually integrated into the board, then board has to replaced.
