This is a message from Google's Marketing Team:

Hi GfE Admin Community,

For teachers to benefit from shared resources in Google Classroom, like practice sets, video activities and classwork, they must be verified teachers. We’ve clarified the steps to verify teachers. As an administrator, make sure to verify teachers and ensure no students are in the Classroom Teachers Google group.

Soon, Google Workspace for Education administrators will be able to label organizational units or Groups with a ‘Staff access’ setting. All users in the corresponding OU or Group will be able to access shared resources, including practice sets, video activities and classwork.

The marketing team advised the following:  The communication going out now is to encourage admins to clean up their verified teachers process and automate if possible to ease adoption of these new premium features. These automation processes are available to districts today and support is available via the help center article. There will be details regarding the development of the “staff access” setting on the next public roadmap.

Interesting. How come that isn't included in the roadmap?

I know admins that freak out when things are just released or implemented without ever being pre-announced in roadmaps and Visible Changes.
