iPads unable to play video in Drive app

All,

We're starting to get reports from our iPad users that video playback from the Drive app no longer works.

Error says Unsupported File Type

• iPad 9 with iOS 17.6.1
• Google Drive 4.2437.11602 
• .mov and .mp4 videos

Anyone else seeing this? Suggestions?
