I've been asked to see if we can make it so for staff (we have students as well) when they look at the directory they don't see the students in it. I guess its too hard for them to sort. I am aware of the custom directory settings called directory vsibilty whic does work but when I had that setup it effected the teachers ablity to share docs with students where as now they can hit share and type a few letters and it sees the students email from the directory. When we had them excluded from the directory visiblilty they'd have to know the students exact email address to share something and that was too much for them
Is there a middle gound solution to this where we can hide students from staff in the directory but not effect the sharing function?
