Copying folders in Drive

Can anyone think of a reason why you can only copy files but not folders in Drive? Folders can be moved, and they can be copied when using Drive for Windows. It’s frustrating not being able to do it in the browser after being able to copy folders in Windows for years.

We use Folgo and no problem.

Why? Well... It was never possible.

However, there are plenty of tools that have been built for this, since it's not built-in.

Copy Folder, simple Web app. - This no longer works in accounts where API Access Control is blocking.

A very confusing feature omission. 

I also use Copy Folder (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/copy-folder/kfbicpdhiofpicipfggljdhjokjblnhl) and Folgo, but I find Copy Folder a little easier to use.

Folgo has a strange UI for selecting folders that makes me always unsure if I have my selections done correctly.

*note Copy Folder is just a website, so click "Visit Website" on that Chrome store page to access the tool

That link to Copy Folder shows it as being "No longer available"

Yeah, it was always just a bookmark. Click the Visit website button.

I used to use Copy Folder as it worked really well, but have changed to Folgo as it has more functions. And Copy Folder was last "Updated 1 September 2019" which I find worrying.

The old Copy Folder web app works for accounts where API Access Control isn't blocking unknown access (tested with my gmail-account), but can actually not be added as an allowed service, because it seems to no longer be published.

The one linked by @ewikstromSD can be allowed in API Access Control.

I have reported an issue for the old web app (which I think is a lot nicer looking and advanced). If you want you can comment in the thread to let Eric know that we'd love for it to work.
