Chrome Action Rule to Block Copy/Paste Not Working

I created a rule to restrict copying and pasting from AI into Google Drive. I can see that the devices are picking up the rule, but it's not working because they can still copy and paste.

I selected the student OU, my trigger is user copies and pastes content, my source urls are things like claude.ai, the destination is Google Drive, the action is block, and I do have it enabled. I've tried changing the source urls, adding more destinations by url, removing certain extensions like Read&Write... to no avail.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

if you’re trying to prevent students from “cheating,“ then they will take screenshots, or, if they have to, take pictures of the screen with their phones.

Is this a compliance rule?

It's not a compliance rule, it's just Rules (between Accounts and Storage in the sidebar). The rule type is Chrome Action. Screenshot 2024-11-13 at 10.15.31 AM.png

I was able to fix my rule by changing the way I wrote the URLs for both the content sources and the destinations. I changed all the content sources so that they were no longer wildcards and I put each destination in three ways: docs.google.com/*, https://docs.google.com, https://docs.google.com/*
