Did anyone get any takers for Classroom Visitor? Nobody has asked for it yet here. Emailed all relevant persons in August. First week after summer holiday, perhaps people's brains weren't turned on yet.

The tech team has used it efficiently to help staff with Classroom issues.  The Instructional Technology person has used it many times to push in to classrooms or to help with issues.  We haven't really introduced it to anyone except the principals and I think with all of the new technology and processes we have introduced since July 1, they are to the point of wanting to learn nothing new until January and I can't blame them.  Sometimes tech moves fast and you have to tap out on a few of the things you view as less important at the time.

We've pushed it to our Instructional Technology folks and they've been pushing using it well and pushing it as well...but in our case, it's just not feasible right now

We created dynamic groups that would grab the Principals and Assistant principals at each locations so that we can then assign those privileges to the group (hence, we won't have to keep up with position changes), but unfortunately, currently, dynamic groups are not supported to have admin rights as of right now. That's a deal breaker for us because we are a much bigger district and positions changes often and it would be a big added task to keep up with those changes and giving rights accordingly...and then there's the part of keeping up with when rights should be removed as well.

I would, but these dynamics groups are already in use in many other cases. I don't believe you can convert a dynamic group to being a regular group, can I?

Pretty sure that's a no.

And creating new ones would require adding them all over.

yep, that's my dilemma. Hopefully Google would support admin rights to dynamic groups - that would be a game changer for us in many ways.

That feels like a Google issue?

If there are errors in the support article, give feedback there, and they'll fix it.

Are Google Admins supposed to get the Analytics card?  I get the visit a class card but don't get the Analytics one.  Is there something I have to have turned on before the Analytics is available?

I think it's still rolling out.

Often a 15 day rollout period.
