Calendar and GMail "web app" IDs

We implemented an allowlist for apps and extensions and now the default "web app" Calendar and GMail icons that are pinned to the shelf (and available via the launcher) have been removed.

What is the App ID for these?
This would be entered as an allowed app here: Devices>Chrome>Apps & extensions Users & browsers (tab)

Gmail used to be this one, pjkljhegncpnkpknbcohdijeoejaedia.

I see it's still listed, but you are not be able to search for it in the CWS, which means you can't allow it in admin.

Google's collection doesn't have it listed anymore.

Gmail Offline is completely gone. Years ago, I think.

I've never had Google Calendar extension in my list of extensions.

These extension references need to be picked up before you block all, because they can't be found afterwards.

@Kristal @chand perhaps either of you can check with the team for the IDs, or a method of allowing Google's own extensions when blocking third-party APIs. They shouldn't really be considered "third-party" as they are created by Google. 🙂

@Kim  and @Bill_Gibson  Here is the response that I received about this inquiry.  Please review and let me know if you need add'l support:

The apps are typically loaded as site or PWAs. Users can configure for mail.google.com as a PWA in the Apps and Extensions area. We may offer extensions as these core apps but better to use the PWA versions.

We ended up publishing the PWAs using https://calendar.google.com and https://mail.google.com

The disadvantage to this approach is that unlike the "pre-installed" ones these have to be set to "Force install + pin to ChromeOS taskbar" when deployed through the admin console.
