Hi IT Admin Community,

Classroom admins can centrally set default grading settings for teachers in their districts in the Google Workspace Admin console. When a teacher creates a new class in Classroom, these default settings are automatically populated for the class. Admins can set default settings for grading periods, grading categories, and grading scales. This saves teachers’ time since they won’t have to input grading settings for new classes they create. This also ensures more consistency in grading settings for classes in a district.

This feature is available to admins with an Education Plus license assigned to them. For more information, visit our Help Center.

Best,

The Google for Education team

Kristal,

Are the settings global for the domain, or can they be set by the OU?

FYI, I think that first URL needs to be updated.
