Any Canva Users?

Hi all, 

A random one that I apologise is not Google related but a bit desperate for an answer. 

We are new to Canva, and on set up believed there would be some teacher control of who could access slides, It seems that the students can just share as they wish between themselves. Canva support seem to be saying that students should not be able to share to each other but I am just not sure. I don't have facebook (shock horror) which you need to access their communities. I would like to avoid that if possible.

Have you gone through all the setup? So that includes identification of users as either staff or students (we use a custom attribute for this)? You can also control settings that are available in your Canva admin dashboard.

It sound like you could be the person of my dreams! Yes, we have that custom attribute set up. We have all the permissions set up for administrators or administrators and teachers.

Yes, we use Canva and whatever account is an admin can access these admin settings from their Canva account.  screenshot attached

Can I ask - do have it so students cannot share to each other directly then? Is this even possible? From what I had read and heard and worked with Canva on set up it seemed this was what happened but it is definitely not what we are experiencing.

I do not see a "sharing" permission.  Our students share with each other because they sometimes collaborate like on a Google Doc.

Just to also add - should the students in these even be able to publish if they are not an admin or teacher? I have got one student (who is designated a student) that has apparently 50 publishes!?

I have our settings where only teachers and admins can share outside of our "team".  I have our students restricted to publishing only to certain apps like Google Classroom so they can submit their work there.
