Chromebook Accents

Hi all.

A potentially random one that I fear may put me forward for the silliest question award. I have a French teacher with the following issue, and I have to say that I am experiencing the same issue. Any thoughts? I could sort languages on Keyboards but it seems a bit silly to not have some accents and not the others? Many thanks for your help (see issue below).

Thanks - I think it's actually a chromebook thing rather than specific to Google Forms... I need to be able to put in
é
ê
ô
which I can.

However, I need an accent on a,e,u that is 'grave' - the opposite direction to the first 'e' above. I also need to be able to put these accents on upper case letters.

On a PC it's "ctrl+' + letter", but it doesn't work on a chromebook... I've googled but not found the answer!

This doc suggest you may have to add an alternative keyboard, US International.

That theory is supported (pun intended) in this official Google support article.

Thanks Kim. Sort of what I thought but wanted if possible to avoid.
