I created a simple app using PlayLab. I uploaded the course textbook and set some simple parameters (e.g., low variability) around how the textbook can be searched via AI.
It is common for students to use AI chat to look up answers during discussions, so I designed an app that keeps their search outputs more aligned with the textbook. Beyond helping students locate course information quickly, the app also allows students to make queries and receive outputs in the language of their choice. The app can translate outputs back into English for use when speaking during the discussion.
