Updated but not Working: User Gemini Chat Deletion Admin Available but not Working in Gemini App

Please be advised that Google Workspace has updated a new "Let users choose their own setting" option for Conversation History & Deletion within the Google Workspace Admin Console in Gemini for Workspace. While "Manual Deletion" is also technically available, please note that it is currently not functional in the Gemini App, as the delete option has not yet appeared for the users with service status . Who could help us with that?

The ability for end users to delete conversation in the Gemini App is not yet available. The admin control will appear before the end user setting.

Is this in reference to the blog post: Gemini conversation history is coming to the side panel in Google Workspace?

Which only covers the side panel and nothing about Education users being able to delete conversations from Gemini Chat.
