Unable to Edit Google Docs

I have three of my 27 staff members who are reporting that they are unable to edit a Google Doc after opening it in their Drive.  When they open the document a new window opens that says "Tablet".  No students have reported this. It appears to happen only to the Samsung devices that the staff uses.  When I gave an Acer to one of the staff members she was able to log into her account and open and edit documents.  I have attached an image.  Any advice?

Tablet - this suggests this is an Android App (you can toggle these between Mobile and Tablet) - have they accidentally added the Docs Android App?

Thats the Google Docs or maybe the Google Drive Android app. I'd not deploy either as they just confuse people. They can go to settings > apps > playstore apps and go to the app an turn off open compatible links.

Yeah, the only Android app for a regular Workspace service that really offered (past tense, ad it's going away) has been the Jamboard app. The rest are better as web apps, and their Android versions should not be allowed.
