Third-Party IDP on Chromebooks

Hey all,

Is anyone using a Third-Party IDP on their Chromebooks? I was following this guide today and got it setup and working with our Microsoft IDP where it brings users right to our Microsoft login page. Where I am having issues is step 7, username passthrough.

Is anyone using the username passthrough and if so what does the work flow look like for you?

The problem I was hoping to solve with it is that for younger students typing the domain can be a struggle. I was hoping that this would take advantage or the domain auto-complete feature on the Chromebook login page.

Thanks for any insight!

Update: Got to the bottom of my issues and reporting back here just in case someone has a similar issue in the future.

Step two: Test SSO - I skipped this step because we have been using SSO for a while now with our staff but there is one setting that needs to be changed. I needed to update "Enable SAML-based single sign-on for Chrome devices" and make sure a user was in that OU to test with.
