[Recommendation app] looking for a third party mail merge app

We have edu fundamentals which doesn't include the built-in gmail mail merge product. So we're relying on third party apps to accomplish this for users. We've cracked down on third party apps primarily around Drive access, but as users need to use mail merge we're looking to centralize to a single platform that privacy and terms are acceptable.

Does anyone have recommended mail merge apps that tie into google workspace?

I know there is this https://developers.google.com/apps-script/samples/automations/mail-merge which utilizes appscript and the code is likely safe and supported by google since it's officially listed on the developer page for it, but not sure how likely end-users would be in knowing how to update appscript code to utilize new columns, or other spreadsheets, etc.

Hi there.  We began using Mergo, Folgo, & Publigo several years ago.  We were able to get an indefinite educational license (thanks @Kim_Nilsson !) when they first launched, but the pricing doesn't look terrible for Workspace domains.  One of the creators is Romain Vialard, who I think did the YAMM (Yet Another Mail Merge) add-on originally.

Form Mule from New Visions Cloudlab has been working for our email needs. https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/form_mule_email_merge_utility/968670674230

We have been using their Autocrat product for PDF/Doc merges from Sheets for many years https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/autocrat/539341275670

Those are my go-to apps.
