Read &Write for Google Chrome

I am trying to deploy the extension via the Google Admin Console.

For my staff OU there is no problem.

For my student OU, I set it to allow install. I see a triangle with an exclamation mark. When I click on that, I get this message: The Chrome Web Store service is disabled for this organizational unit, so users will not be able to install this app or extension. To enable, click here to change settings.

When I click here to change settings I go to Additional Google Services. From there I don't know what do to.  Any suggestions

The Chrome Web Store is an Additional Service, and it seems to be Off for the /Students OU, or whatever you named it.

It depends on whether you are doing it Universally or Targeted students.  For Universal, rather than 'Allow' set it to 'Force Install'.  If Targeted, you can make a 'Group' and then 'Force Install' for those students.

You probably want to keep the students (younger ones for sure) out of the Chrome Web Store.  Otherwise they install all sorts of distracting apps for themselves.

There's no point in keeping the Chrome Web Store off, as nobody can install anything to their account unless you allow it, since you, of course, are blocking all installs unless allowed, for both students and staff.
