I currently manage two separate GACs for our two domains that we have.
I'm trying to weigh the options of adding one of them as a secondary domain to my primary domain. Does anyone have experience with this?
I have a few concerns after reading their directions.
File migration. It appears there's no ways to directly transfer Google accounts between the GACs. From what I'm reading there's no way to retain file shares etc and shared drives. If I understand right I would not be able to transfer these files because you can't create the users on the primary GAC until you've migrated the domain.
Web filters. The two domains have different web filter services and at the moment I think we want to keep it that way. This shouldn't be affected since web filters are assigned by OU.
Just wondering if anyone's gone through with this and decided 'this was not worth it' or 'best decision ever' ?
