Is there a way to see who filled out a Google Form anonymously?

Can we see in any admin log who fills out Google Forms, even anonymously?

tl;dr: No.

That's the entire point of an anoymous survey.

However, if you have a very detailed snoopy webfilter that logs everything, you can perhaps compare the submission time in the Form when one of your users was surfing to that address.

If the form was public, and submitted outside of your network, on an unmanaged device... then that's a no.

Well, to this same question, what about an OPEN (non anonymous) Google Form?  Is there a Drive log event or something that shows when it was filled out?

I know I can look on the responses sheet that gets generated from the form itself, but was just curious if this was searchable elsewhere.

Also No, as the Drive Log doesn't show then the ViewForm page of a Form was accessed, only when the Edit page of a Form is accessed. Those two file ids are different. And the ViewForm events aren't logged.

Visible in the Responses Sheet, of course, but only if you collect email addresses and force verified users.
