Wow! What a great reminder on how important the topic of the Science of learning is for all educational leaders.
I've been training Brazilian educators for the past 20 years, and I can tell that once I started learning about neuroscience in education, my approach to learning design changed completely.

This article is a must read, plus if you want to explore more, I'd go for anything the neuroscient Judy Willis publishes. She was a researcher and then got back to classroom to apply what neuroscience was saying and apply it in a real classroom context. She's been contributing for Edutopia for many years with practical tips for educators and school leaders: https://www.edutopia.org/search?query=judy%20willis&page=1

Here you can also find some great stuff from her: https://ascd.org/people/judy-willis

And I highly recommend her book with Jay McThige, Understanding by Design Meets Neuroscience: https://ascd.org/books/upgrade-your-teaching?variant=119008

Thanks @Raynise and @Kristal for the pointer.

Obrigada @Raynise e @Kristal pelas dicas excelentes!
