Google Classroom Slow Down Issues

When using Google Classroom, if you have a fairly large class with lots of assignments and resources, including multiple languages, Google Classroom starts to load really slow when going to the grade grid or creating new assignments.  We've tested on different internet connections, turning off our EDR, testing on high end computers, and still the same results.  Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what did you do to resolve it?  Thanks for any suggestions.

Is there an extension based web filter involved?
We once had this slow down the rapid grading porting of Classroom.

Thank you.  I believe we did check the filter and worked with Linewize to solve it.  We also turned all extensions off and the situation did not improve.

I have an open case with Google support for this. They have already tried a few things to resolve the issue and asked us to test, but no resolution yet. They just messaged today on the case asking for us to create more HAR files and video recordings of the issue. I would submit a case.
