Emails from the community ended up in spam

Perhaps it's an issue with our email filter (Gmail and/or Proofpoint) but the emails from this community ended up in my spam folder in Gmail. Just in case others notice they're not receiving notifications from this community.

Thank you for confirming that.

I think this is because of the content. Unknown sender and loads of links.

The DNS records are all correct, SPF, DKIM and DMARC should all be PASS if you check it.

I added a DKIM record to our DNS. Hope that helps keep them out of SPAM

It looked like Google was finding the email suspicious ("Looks Safe" red banner), not Proofpoint. If you have a KB for the DKIM settings for this community and able to share it, please do. Otherwise just marking it "Looks Safe" and a Gmail rule "never send to spam" probably will do the job.

Hi Alex!

Did you mean the invitation email I sent from gadmins.org, or notification emails from this community?

Sender address: no-reply@googleforeducommunity.com

From the no-reply@googleforeducommunity.com address. After clicking Looks Safe and bypassing spam folder (via Gmail rules) there's no issues.

Adding myself here to try and get an email triggered.

Just had an email from no-reply@googleforeducommunity.com Quarantined.

Looking in my quarantined emails I have all of those are being caught as well as three Google Workspace Update from last month!

I'll release them and keep an eye on things to see if I need to do anything.

Would you please download the original EML and send it to me? As a private message.

I'd like to see what the headers look like. Perhaps there is something we can fix.

Sent.

Turns out I had completely forgotten to enable DKIM🙄

Still emails end up in spam. Looks like the domain may have been spoofed even before we got it, and has a poor reputation because of that.

Please, everyone, do remember to mark the emails from gadmins.org as Not spam, and also as Not phishing, so Google learns that it is perfectly fine.
