Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate to kick off the America’s Youth AI Festival, with a media availability highlighting the AI Student Senate.
As the U.S. Department of Treasury develops proposed regulations for the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit (FSTC) program, AASA led a coalition of prominent public education organizations in submitting recommendations designed to strengthen implementation and expand opportunities for public school students and school districts in opt-in states. Last week, the Government Accountability Office published a report analyzing why more students with disabilities are being educated in general education settings. Nationally, the number of students with disabilities in the general education classroom for at least 40% of their day increased by 25% over 10 years. The largest increase came from students with disabilities in gen ed for at least 80% of their day. Read here to learn more.
