The GEG program is leadership-driven. It empowers individuals to build a shared vision and leverage Google tools to transform their local communities.

What Does it Take to Lead? Leading a GEG is a prestigious role that connects you directly with Google’s global network. As the program has evolved, it has become a key pathway for those looking to make a bigger impact.

Current Leadership Requirements: * Champion Status: To apply as a GEG Leader, it is highly recommended that you hold a Google for Education Champion certification, such as Certified Innovator , Certified Trainer , or Certified Coach.

• Active Engagement: Leaders submit annual plans and are expected to host quarterly events to keep their communities vibrant.

If you are already a Certified Trainer or Innovator, stepping up to lead a GEG is the perfect way to amplify your impact.
