Hey everyone. My name's Dee Abson, and I'm currently an IT Specialist with Red Deer Public Schools in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. I've been with Red Deer Public for a little over 6 months, and having come from more enterprise-y environments in the past, this is my first big exposure to Google Workspace (though I've been a long-time Google enthusiast personally). Most of our fleet of end-user devices are Google Chromebooks, so we have the killer Chromebook & Google Workspace for Education combo at play here. I'm trying my best to understand this environment with an eye on driving improvements and being "productively lazy" by automating and scheduling as many operational processes & procedures as possible. I'm looking forward to seeing what this community can bring and what I can bring to this community!

Welcome from your neighbor to the south, and apologies from those of us who are embarrassed at how you and your fellow citizens have been treated by certain of us here. We look forward to the end of this recent nastiness and the return to a more civil climate.  In 1990 my wife and I spent our honeymoon in Banff and Lake Louise and have many treasured memories of the trip. Even the drive from the airport to the hotel - it was your Independence Day and we felt like we were welcomed by a firework festival. So here you go back:
