Event Overview Join the Global GEG for "Digital Roots: Integrating Traditional Knowledge into Classrooms," a session focused on bridging cultural preservation with digital competency. This webinar explores how primary and secondary educators can use technology to ground learning activities in the immediate ecological, historical, and linguistic realities of their communities. We will demonstrate how to utilize Google Workspace tools to build inclusive, student-owned repositories of local wisdom, bypassing one-size-fits-all digital frameworks. Participants will discover methods for transforming student research into high-impact digital artifacts that honor traditional elders and regional knowledge holders. This session offers the strategic design foundations required to build a learning environment where modern technical literacy and ancient wisdom reinforce one another.
