This professional learning session introduces ICT teachers in the Sibu District, Sarawak, Malaysia to the latest artificial intelligence tools available within the Google ecosystem, specifically Gemini AI and NotebookLM.

The session will involve 116 ICT teachers from primary and secondary schools across the district. Participants will explore how generative AI can support teaching, lesson planning, knowledge organization, and digital learning innovation in schools.

During this session, participants will:

• Gain an overview of Gemini AI and its applications for educators
• Learn how NotebookLM can support research, lesson preparation, and document analysis
• Explore practical classroom use cases aligned with the Digital Education Policy (Malaysia)
• Discuss responsible and ethical use of AI in education

This initiative is part of the district’s effort to strengthen AI literacy among educators and empower teachers to integrate emerging technologies into teaching and learning.
