Max number of accounts in Chrome Browser under on profile?

We are setting up a computer lab of MacBooks and the computer lab teacher wants to have each student use their own account to login to the chrome browser. So, leave the base profile signed into chrome- just add multiple accounts but it caps or maxes out at 10. Any where in the GAC that I can bump this number of users up? I'm not talking profiles, but accounts. Thanks!

"login to the Chrome browser"...

That's a profile.

"login to the account" = secondary account

Why? Why not use profiles?

You can have hundreds of profiles, without issues and interference.

Secondary login is bound to create chaos, and EVERYONE will forget to log out EVERY DAY.

Definitely agree with Kim! I have also seen where secondary logins confuse the system and it is not sure whose Drive or Email it should be using. In a public setting like a computer lab, this would definitely be an issue.

I did look into using Ephemeral mode with Chrome on Windows devices a number of years ago and it worked (the site ended up deciding to go another direction though). If this is still an option, the beauty of it was that as soon as the browser was closed, it cleared out any account login data - similar to Incognito Mode but it still saved history in the cloud for the account.

Update: found some information about this mode: https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/3538894?hl=en

I can only agree with Kim ans Steve, and as Steve mentioned Ephemeral mode is the way to go in the situation you're describing. Otherwise it's also a big security risk for the student's as others can read their email, and send email as them, and look in their drive if they forget to log out. That's definitely not something you want to deal with if people abuse other people's accounts.
