Is there a way to disable suggested third party apps in Gmail/Chrome?

Often times when trying to view certain files in a Gmail, users are getting these suggested third party apps that I don't want them to use. Is it possible to disable these suggestions for my users?

Great question.  This also annoys me and should not be presented to users.

Do you know if you block all third-party apps except apps that have been approved, does this still happen? (In Google Admin)

We have all third party apps blocked except those on the allowed list. I just checked a couple files and the suggestions are still shown.

I am watching this thread with interest as I would also like to see the suggestions removed.

Yes, it would also have been a good idea to have a setting here that they can run but not install Marketplace apps, which means you would still be able to force install apps.
