Grade Export to SIS Support Ending for Fundamental Licenses?

Anyone else seen this? Export Grades to Your SIS

I'm hoping maybe I'm just misunderstanding, but according to this link Grade Export to SIS will no longer work starting July 1st, 2024 unless a teacher has one of the following licenses.

• A Google Workspace for Education Plus license
• A G Suite Enterprise for Education license
• A Teaching and Learning Upgrade license

I spoke with our Google Support Specialist with CDW/AmplfiedIT and this was the first they'd heard about it as well.

I guess that's one way to make money. Take away features that used to be free. 😞

Right? Really puts us in a weird spot. We don't mind updating to Education Plus, we'd been considering anyways, but our new budget doesn't start until September. With school starting in August that leaves us a month of not having Grade Export. Unfortunately Google does not Pro-rate or do individual months. We've been working with our rep to figure out a solution.
