Explore .zip contents using Google Drive

When you double click on a .zip file in Google Drive you are able to explore the contents.

I don't see a way to extract all/some of the contents.

Was this always a part of the "preview" functionality in Google Drive?

"always" is a long time. 🙂 but by that simple definition, yes, it was always possible. 🙂
