Device Management: 'Recent Users' not reporting

In Device Management, you can see Recent Users who have logged into a chromebook. However, it has stopped syncing for us and recent users are not showing- the last users are from the last school year that ended back in May (these are our cart chromebooks so multiple users).  Recent Activity is showing on the devices correctly so I can see activity on the device from August 28, 2023 but the Recent User is not correct. The Recent Users data is just stale. Any ideas what I need to do here? I've wiped one device and re-enrolled it and it still doesn't pick up any Recent Users but it is capturing the Recent Activity. I've checked Device Settings in the GAC but I'm spinning in circles. Device reporting and device telemetry are enabled across all OUs..... thanks for any input!

Hi @MaryGrant ,

Just report it. It's one of those things that should just work. Reading your post I see you have obviously checked all relevant settings, and are getting some new data.

Thank you! I did contact support and they were very helpful. I did miss the setting I was hunting for in GAC- for the one OU I was seeing this issue with- we did have a device setting set to "Erase all local user info, settings, and state after each sign-out". This OU was for a pool of loaner chromebooks so I thought it would force sign out all users which it does but it then also wasn't sending user data back which is what we want more. Thanks!!
