Had a great opportunity to train around 400 educators in Pakistan in April 2025. A number of School Heads and teachers from a very prestigious school Happy Palace School in Karachi took the lead and joined the online training sessions on Gemini, Notebook and Canva. All sessions were created in google sites, with lesson checks, attendance forms and feedback forms created in google forms. The sessions were interactive and participants enjoyed the sessions. These sessions are a great opportunity to develop school leadership. Had a great opportunity to train around 19 educators - school heads and teachers for L1 certification From a prestigious school in Karachi , Pakistan - The Happy Palace Group of Schools - which most of them passed successfully in a month back. They were awe inspired by the work they can do with Google for Education tools. Looking forward to empowering more educators in Pakistan.
It was interesting to see School heads, Vice Principals and even teachers using Google Gemini, Notebook for differentiated tasks. A school head could use Gemini to analyse the whole year performance in Google Sheet or exam results in Google Sheets and identify areas that need improvements within seconds. Similarly a subject teacher can analyse her learners performance in a subject over a period of months using assessment results in Google Sheets using Gemini. She can generate new lesson plans, new quizzes based on the results of the quiz.
Similarly it depends how educators use Google Notebooks, for example school heads can have her meeting agendas, notes, curriculum documents, yearly plans etc all saved in a Google Notebook and share with her team of school leaders. A subject teacher can add her resources text books, lesson plans, videos, yearly plans, assessments in a Google Notebook and all same grade teacher could access the resource.
This is all links to Google mission - making information & knowledge universally accessible and useful for all. Google for education tools are empowering all educators. And as leaders its our responsibility to equip them with the skills to use these tools in the most effective ways.
