When you say "student use" is this for K-12 or higher ed? Their policy says " You are not permitted to use Pi if you are under the age of 18." and it is mentioned a few times. I think when you are going to use any AI tool, what you are using it for can help with deciding if it should be used. Generic, nonpersonal, and no real data being used, almost any tool could be used, but if you are going to be using it with any "real data," you really do need to make sure they are trustworthy and the policies they have regarding your data.
