Yes, I used Gemini in a Science activity about the microscopic view of plants. Students observed plant cells and used Gemini to better understand what they were seeing. The best part was their curiosity and excitement, although we also discussed the importance of checking AI answers with real observations.

A prompt that worked well was: “What structures can we see in a plant cell under a microscope, and what do they do?”

What I appreciate here is not just the computer vision aspect, but the way Al helps students deepen their understanding of evidence they've collected themselves. That feels like a particularly authentic application in science learning.
