Join the Global GEG for "The Balanced Educator: Reclaiming Time with Smart Workflows," a session dedicated to your most valuable resource: your well-being. This May, we’re moving beyond the "self-care" tropes to look at practical "system-care" strategies. Featuring GEG Utah who have mastered the art of digital efficiency, this session will showcase how to use Gemini, NotebookLM, and Google Workspace to automate repetitive tasks and set firm digital boundaries. Discover how to transform your workflow so you can spend less time behind a screen and more time doing what you love.

Kelli Cannon has been an educator for 12 years, teaching upper elementary students prior to her current role as a Digital Learning Specialist. Kelli holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology, as well as endorsements in STEM, Teaching English as a Second Language and Instructional Coaching. She is a Google Trainer and leader of the Google Educator Group in Utah.

Deanna Taylor is an educator with over 30 years of experience in early childhood and elementary education, with a Master's in Education with endorsements in Educational Technology, Gifted and Talented, and Literacy. As a Digital Learning Specialist, she collaborates with teachers and administrators to implement blended and digital learning strategies and provide professional development at the school and district levels. Her digital learning certifications include Google Certified Coach, Google Certified Trainer, Google Certified Educator Levels 1 & 2, SchoolAI Certified Educator Levels 1 & 2, Apple Learning Coach, and Adobe Creative Educator Level 1 & 2. She is also a Nearpod PioNear, Nearpod Certified Trainer, and Coach. She has presented at Nearpod's Camp Engage in 2024 and her state technology conference, UCET.

Emma Moss is a digital leader passionate about designing engaging, future-ready learning experiences through thoughtful technology integration. She serves as a Digital Teaching & Learning Specialist and has led large-scale AI literacy initiatives, including Utah’s AI for K-12 program, supporting more than 7,500 educators in implementing AI to enhance teaching and learning. Emma has been a leader with GEG Utah for the past five years, where she collaborates with educators across the state to share innovative practices, build community, and elevated impactful use of Google tools in the classroom. She is a Google Certified Educator Level 1 and Level 2 and brings deep experience in creating high-engagement, student-centered learning environments. In addition to her work with Google Emma was a Women Tech Council Women in Tech finalist, an AI Women Power List of the Top 40 Women to Watch in Utah for AI, an ISTE Generation AI Fellow, ACTE National Fellow, and the 2021 Utah Teacher of the Year Runner-Up. Emma is known for her ability to connect big ideas to practical classroom application. She is passionate about empower educators to amplify student voice, increase engagement, and expand opportunities for every learner.

Julie Kaster has been an educator for nine years in Cache County School District. Currently, she works in a multifaceted role as a Digital Teaching and Learning Mentor while also teaching English at Sky View High School. Julie loves to assist her peers as they grow their understanding of educational technology and best practices. She is a Google Certified Educator for Levels 1 and 2, and Julie is always working to expand her PLN as a participant and as a leader. Julie currently serves as a member of the GEG Utah Leadership Team, a Google AI+Edu Fellow for the North American cohort, as a member of the Utah Tech Leaders Network and as a Utah Coalition for Educational Technology board member. Julie is a huge believer in the power of local leadership and professional development. She is passionate about many areas of edtech, especially when student accommodations and ethical AI integrations are a part of the conversation.

Kristine Marriott has been an educator for 20 years, bringing a wealth of classroom experience and technical expertise to her work. She holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology & Learning Sciences (ITLS) from Utah State University, as well as a specialized Educational Technology Endorsement. Currently, Kristine focuses on the intersection of innovation and pedagogy, where she thrives on collaborating with fellow teachers to solve complex problems through technology. She is a firm believer that digital tools should be used to elevate instructional rigor while simultaneously boosting student engagement. Driven by a commitment to professional growth and community, she recently joined the GEG to further connect with like-minded innovators. Kristine is passionate about empowering educators to navigate the evolving tech landscape, ensuring that every tool used serves a meaningful purpose in the modern classroom.
