Transfer of files admin option

Hey everyone!  Help me dust off my brain............

When prompted to transfer ownership of Google Drive files while deleting a user account, does this transfer ALL CONTENT and not just Google-centric files?

Would it be the same thing if I used the "TRANSFER OWNERSHIP" option under Google Workspace/ "Settings for Drive and Docs" instead of doing it during account deletion?

Yes.

It transfers everything in the user's My Drive, regardless of type.
