One of our front offices was wanting to try and streamline their tardy process. Turns out our SIS (Synergy) has a self service app for it though it looks like we're effectively forced to use an iPad as ChromeOS still doesn't support Android apps in kiosk mode after depreciating it in 2021.
Anyway I was curious what people were using for good receipt printers. We're tentatively looking at picking up a cheap/base model iPad and I'd prefer to connect it via cable for power and printing rather than rely on bluetooth. There's a small possibility that we may extend this, likely without the printer, within our older grades classrooms but that would also require a change within our SIS for handling attendance.
