Suppressing student email from teacher view

Is it possible to block student email addresses from the teacher view in Google Classroom? The person asking is in a situation where teachers are forbidden from individually contacting students.

Aside from some sort of compliance rule on the back end to intercept/redirect emails from the teacher in question, nothing comes to mind.

Exactly.

You could do it both for Gmail and Drive, as content sharing in Classroom is done by Classroom, so I'm pretty sure it will not mess with Classroom usage.

Also, of course, you can't allow Chat/Spaces or Meet.

And you have to realise that as soon as Classroom has created and shared a document with the student, the teacher can communicate with the student within the document.
