Google Calendar app iOS weirdness

Anyone else experience this issue on their Google Calendar app on iOS?

I am signed in with my personal gmail and workspace account. Only recently when I am in my personal account in the Google Calendar app, and I go to click the "+" to add an event, it automatically switches to my Workspace account. This happens about >95% of the time. I'm usually in "Schedule" mode, not sure that makes a difference either.

Just wondering if anyone has noticed this weirdness.

I have seven (7) accounts in my calendar.. so I expect some weirdness. 🙂

I almost always have to switch account, as the goal is rarely to add an event in the currently active account.

However, it doesn't seem to switch away when I click the +.
