Just did a fresh install yesterday and GAM-ADV was pretty much turnkey for me (including popping out any needed auth windows or providing links that populated lists for scopes). The only oddity I'm not spotting covered in forums is a scope failure on 4 (5?) with users in OU's marked under 18, but they were things like alerts, datastudio, and for some reason keep. When I reran a scope check against an over 18 user, everything passed fine so it's handling everything I need to batch with it. I don't think the Google updates changed things much for GAM installs.

Some of the services/APIs that you normally use with GAMADV-XTD3 are things that may not be enabled/allowed for Under-18 users. Hence the fails.

But as you verified, as soon as you try with an adult account, things usually Pass.

Absolutely. These are the best I know.

Installing GAMADV-XTD3 on Google Cloud Shell

Installing GAMADV-XTD3 on Windows 10

Installing GAMADV-XTD3 on macOS

Installing GAMADV-XTD3 on Ubuntu (Linux)

For anyone new with GAM, I recommend Taming Techs course on Udemy.

Thanks for the confirmation Kim 🙂

I almost forgot about the cloudshell VM deployment for it; I should really put one up there for my own ease one of these days (with a whole heck of a lot of MFA between it and the world). So, the videos were a very handy reminder, even the title 😆.

@Kim_Nilsson has listed the best, but there are a few more videos I found on Youtube and have collated the here https://sites.google.com/jis.edu.bn/gam-commands/misc/youtube?authuser=0

@James_Seymour - is that you James? Awesome! Great to see you here.

This bit with people creating random usernames instead of using real names is a bit weird.

We have figured out that the signature, in settings, is a text that always displays with posts, so it's possible to clue people in who you are that way.

Hi @Kim_Nilsson,

Yes, that's me. I have now looked at changing the username, as I can see the confusion it will/may cause, but it seems it is not possible.

Cheers
