Clever Badge Setup

Hello

I am working on Clever Badge setup.  We would like to use this with specific grade levels.  

One of the steps in setup they are requesting is setting up a third party sso profile for the whole organization. and using netmask 1.1.1.1/32.  What does this do? 

I only want these specific grade levels to use SSO Badges for Chromebook login.  Does this 1.1.1.1/32 accomplish this?

Also, I tried setting up Clever as a separate SAML profile, but when I setup this way there are some options that they want checked in the Clever setup wizard that are not available and some options that are required in the profile setup that are not listed on the Clever setup wizard.

The 1.1.1.1 reference is actually not valid anymore. At least it shouldn't be.

That IP address used to not exist, but now it does! It's the DNS of Cloudflare.

The idea of supplying and incorrect netmask in the SSO setting was to (not?) force SSO when on the school network.

Another part of the user setup is to force SSO in user settings of the users you want effected.

Is the idea to not force SSO anywhere by using a "nonexistant" IP an then turn on force using SSO for certain users, which will require the use of the SSO that technically doesn't apply anywhere?

Maybe this was done  before SSO profiles were a thing?  I wonder if there are updated instructions now?  Anyone know?

Looks like Clever can only be set up as a primary SSO currently :(.  So I guess I understand the need to ensure that it doesn't actually effect any other users, but I think it is a poor way of doing so.

If you organize your OU structure by site and/or grade you can do this.

We have Clever badges for K-1 enabled using OU structure and by following their setup/wizard guide:
