Annoying workflow when downloading

Hi

I can't be the only one annoyed with the way the download option is removed in file preview?
In the past the download option would always be present, but at some point last year I think, the download button was removed.

Whenever teachers uploads stuff for their students, I have a whole class showing up saying they aren't able to download whatever it is the teacher has provided them with.

I found a separate solution, that always triggers the download of the file.
So take the ID from your file, from the URL, and then append it at the end of this URL: 

https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=

That will trigger the download
