I'm Back!

I have been absent from this list since about July 15. I am sorry for that. The beginning of this year was the hardest I have had in my thirty year career. I can not pick one specific challenge or install that caused it, it has just been a difficult start. But things are better, my head is above water, and I am feeling good.

Secondly, I am not getting notifications on new posts. I am getting them from the Champions hub, nut not the admin hub. Not sure what is going on. I have turned them off, then on again. They seem to work for a brief time, then stop again. Anyone else noticing this? I will keep trying, but as a workaround, I just keep the webpage up and go back to it from time to time.

I hope everyone else is having a great year. This group is very important to me and I am happy to be back amongst this peer group.

Hello!  I have not had any issues with notifications.............as far as I know that is.

This came up a while back, I think the default notification settings aren't ideal. Take a look at this thread... https://www.googleforeducommunity.com/t5/Discussion/Community-settings/m-p/331/highlight/true#M96 (hopefully this link works?!)

It's amazing how the job never really gets easier in EDU - teachers, techs, admins. I'm in year 26. Always new problems to solve, new apps to install/support, new challenges to commiserate over. That's also what keeps me engaged as well. So happy to read that you're above water and that you're back here. The GEAG needs you!

I agree on the notification settings - there was one box I hadn't checked for some reason. Steve's screenshot/thread below summed it up for me as well. 

Looking forward to continued interaction / collaboration in 2025.

I did. I had to clear them out. Log out, log back in after a day and reset them. Now I am back where I belong.
