I have been using Google for a long time. It all started because they were innovators who offered cloud-based ☁️ solutions and localized their products into Lithuanian 🇱🇹. This has proven to be a great choice for both myself 👨🏫and the school where I work 🏫.
Today, we rely on Google for many tasks: managing our shared school calendar 🗓, building websites 🖥, and using AI to create automated spreadsheets for employee vacations and schedules 📢. We also have a dedicated 'Teachers' Room' in Google Chat 🔔, which we use to share information and, most importantly, to learn to respect the boundaries between work and personal time.
Currently, I am learning to maximize automated processes using Google Workspace Studio X. I am thrilled that even though I provide prompts in English, I can receive summaries and information in Lithuanian. It is truly wonderful.
While it's a pity that some Google innovations reach Lithuania with a delay, we are eager to learn and adopt them as they arrive. I have been working exclusively with Google Classroom for several years now 📖; it’s a fantastic tool for sharing educational content and providing students with a clear digital roadmap of their learning 🗞.
Furthermore, it is just an idea, but it would be great cause we are looking for partners who would like to collaborate on joint tasks and projects with our students. To have some students' conversations about CS or maybe other stuff? It would be an exciting opportunity to connect! We are fully open to "learning without borders" with Google. We may use Google Chat, Google Meet, Google Classroom to be connected. As well we may have some similar connections between teachers as well... 🤗
Happy Easter to You all - I wish for everyone faith, love and hope! 💚 🐣 🌱
