Hello, my name is Shauna Oakwood.  I just became a Google Certified Trainer.  I am a high school media specialist, dual credit communications teacher, and digital learning leader in my school and trainer for my district.  I also work for a non-profit organization that supports pre-service teacher preparation and awards teachers for excellence in teaching.  I mentor new teachers, facilitate reflective seminars for pre-service college students and transition to teaching candidates, and teach clsases on best practices to pre-service teachers in the summer.  Google Apps for Education play a huge role in all of my jobs and I am so excited to be able to learn from and collaborate with so many devoted educators.

My name is Jornea (Jor-nay) Armant (Ar-mahnt), also know as Savvy_Educator, and I'm excited to join the Global GEG Community, currently as a program manager based in the United States (New Orleans, Louisiana to be exact).

During my 20+ years as an educator I have developed a deep passion for supporting educators, building communities, and creating meaningful learning experiences at scale. I believe technology has the power to amplify student voice, creativity and connection while expanding access and transforming lives.
