Changing to a New GEG Leader

I am reaching out to the community for some guidance. I am stepping down as the GEG Leader for GEG-SOUTX.

I remember we used to have documentation on the process for onboarding and naming a new leader, but I am having trouble locating those details now. Could anyone point me in the right direction or share the current process for transitioning leadership?
